L'esperienza vuole ripercorrere i punti più significativi della città: e quelli dedicati agli emigranti che sono partiti e a chi non è più tornato.
Da Piazza Marconi attraverseremo la villa comunale per fare una visita a San Michele, patrono della città. Riscendendo ci soffermeremo davanti alla grande pietra di quarzo posata nel 1996 pietra proveniente dalle miniera di Kangoorlie, nel Western Australia. Costeggeremo loggia Ambligh fino ad arrivare a Porta Catena dove potremo osservare la Croce di Montevecchio, posta a memoria dei tanti vastesi che non sono riusciti a tornare in patria.
Visiteremo i Giardini D'Avalos per poi addentrarci nel cuore del centro storico e della fitta rete di abitazioni degli emigranti, arriveremo al Monumento all'Emigrante per porta Nuova e termineremo la passeggiata davanti al Portale della Chiesa di San Pietro per i saluti e la foto di rito.

The experience aims to retrace the most significant points of the city: and those dedicated to the emigrants who left and those who never returned.
From Piazza Marconi we will cross the municipal villa to pay a visit to San Michele, patron saint of the city. Going back down we will stop in front of the large quartz stone laid in 1996, coming from the Kangoorlie mine, in Western Australia. We will walk along the Ambligh loggia until we reach Porta Catena where we will be able to observe the Montevecchio Cross, placed in memory of the many people from Vasto who were unable to return to their homeland.
We will visit the Avalos Gardens and then enter the heart of the historic center and the dense network of emigrants' homes, we will arrive at the Emigrant Monument through Porta Nuova and we will end the walk in front of the Portal of the Church of San Pietro for the greetings and the ritual photo.
